For value and convenience, Hot Cams skim kits are the perfect addition to any toolbox, garage or shop. These shim kits are handy when it comes time to do any valve maintenance work or camshaft installation on your bike, restoring like-new performance to you four-stroke engine. All the shims are conveniently packed in a low-profile plastic container that requires little storage space. You’ll receive 3 shims of each size ranging from 1.2 millimeter up to 3.5 millimeter in .05 mm increments. The size is laser etched on the top of each shim to make it easy to identify which one to select. Shims are manufactured from cold rolled 4140 steel to offer high strength and uniformity of hardness. Having a shim kit on hand means you have what you need for a quick repair to get back on your bike sooner. Compared to many OEM shim kits. Hot Cams kits are only about a third of the price. Refill kits with 5 shims are available as a separate price.
