Description
Plastic switch plate extension lifter will raise the switch plate 3/4″ off the wall, great to cover electrical boxes that are raised and stick out of the wall. Also great for shallow electrical boxes – install a bulkier GFCI receptacle, thick fan control switch or light timer in a box that’s not deep enough. Works with any single gang standard size switch plate and most electrical devices including toggle switches, rocker switches, GFCI outlets & duplex outlets. Be sure to check dimensions of your device to be sure it will fit within the inner opening.

Shop gap filler wall plates or use stackable depth rings to fix gaps larger than .25″ or bigger than.
Installation Instructions
Turn off power to the device. Unscrew the electrical device from the box if currently installed.
Pull the device through the center of the extender ring and set the device on top of the extender ring.
Using the long screws provided, thread the screws through the device holes, the extender ring holes and then into the electrical box.
Once the device is mounted on top of the box, screw your wall plate into the device screw holes.
Restore power to the device.
